Dr. Bell is a Board Certified Adult Neurologist who treats all Neurological Conditions of the human nervous system. This encompasses the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Examples are Strokes, Migraine Headaches, Parkinson’s Disease, Seizure Disorders, Peripheral Neuropathies, Lumbar and Cervical Radiculopathies, Sciatica, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, etc.

She attended college at Tennessee state university. She has Fellowship Training in Clinical Neurophysiology with specialized training in Epilepsy and Neuromuscular Conditions, in addition to being a General Neurologist. She also has special Certification in Electromyography and Nerve Conduction Studies as well as Electroencephalography. Dr. Bell attended medical school at the University of Tennessee. She subsequently completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Kettering Medical Center in Ohio.

Dr. Bell completed a Neurology Residency at the University of Cincinnati. She subsequently completed a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati and Children’s Hospital Medical Center gaining specialized competence in electrocorticography and brain mapping in the evaluation of patients for surgery to eliminate and control their seizures.

Dr. Bell believes in staying current and implementing all current therapies in her practice. She persistently attends lectures and also is a Lecturer/Presenter at Institutions such as Wake Forrest University, Columbia University, and Harvard University.

Dr. Bell is a member of the Medical Association of The State of Alabama, American Medical Association, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Society of Neuroimaging, and the American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Bell is CEO and founder of the Neurological Care Center, which was founded in 2000.
